Jayden's glasses were in desperate need of being replaced, as you can see, but he insisted on wearing them until the new pair were in his hands. I almost threw those things out in the middle of the street to be run over, (accidentally, of course) rendering them unwearable,
but decided against it after all. Thankfully Jaydie's glasses came sooner than expected and the old pair is out of my life forever.
Speaking of our sweet Jaydie, here's a little nugget of info for ya. Our Bible-reading, verse-memorizing, piano-playing sweetie was giving his little neighborhood friends the bird the other day. Praise Jesus he doesn't know what it means officially, he just knows it's bad. He was mad at his friends and must have thought, "well, this will show them!!" After some reproof we found out that he learned it from the neighborhood children (no, I'm not giving people the bird in the car). So, we don't need to send our kids to school to learn foul things, they can pick stuff up right here on our culdesac. So much for trying to live in a homeschool bubble.
Why does this make me so happy?? Sure, my house is a complete pig sty, but my cupboards are like pure beauty. I have some serious issues.
Rob reading the REAL CHRISTmas story to the boys. Hopefully they heard at least a little of it. They're kind of single focused on Christmas day.
Have you ever seen such a sad birthday cake for Jesus? I won't tell you what the boys thought it looked like, but you can use your imagination. It's the thought that counts, right??
If I could figure out how to use my camera timer then we could have a picture of all five of us on Christmas day. Maybe next year, huh??
