JETS, HELICOPTERS, AND PLANES, OH MY

It was a tad windy at Fox Air Field this day. Does it count for a homeschool day if we were there for a total of 15 minutes?? Field trips in the AV; it doesn't get much better than this.

P.E. FOR HOMESCHOOLERS

This boy's got rhythm.

This homeschooler is going to be physically active AND socialized. Hence the P.E. class and the 15 other things we're signed up for. After the class he says, "I sure worked hard today." And I say, "that you did Jaydie, that you did."

MUFFIN PIES

Here are my little muffin pies "planting flower trees" for their Momma. Because who else would they be planting it for?

You know those little seed packets you get from those flowery trees?? Well, the boys decided to "plant" some for me right in the middle of the yard. Am I gonna have those trees sprouting up in random places??

SAFETY FIRST

The children have been totally enthralled with Daddy's Signature goods. They dream about these little red machines and ask a few times a day (okay, constantly) to ride them. If you ever want to be completely freaked out and nervous about 3 boys on speedy little cars, then come on over to my house. The rule is, only when Daddy's watching. So I just sit in the house and pretend like they're out there playing a friendly game of tag or something of that nature.

AND WE'RE OFF...

I know this is like salt in the wound for some of you. Sorry.
Aunt Hallie made school bus cookies for his first day. Way to appeal to his primary love language Aunt Hallie!!
The school year has begun and we are off and running like horses out of the gate (I don't know). Jaydie was very excited about school and when we were done asked if he could do more, so that's a praise!! We're praying for no meltdowns this year (from me, not so much Jayden), and hope that you'll join us in that. In return I will keep blogging. Yep, I'm a giver.

CHALK IT UP

This right here is THE main reason for homeschooling....the most beautiful chalk board in the world!! I'm thinking about homeschooling myself just to get more use out of it. Are you as pumped as I am about this?

SISTER NEEDS A BATH TOO

Rob told me to say...when her fur is all wet she looks like an ugly cat.
I wonder why she doesn't like bath time.

This is how Nolie helps.

BOYS IN A BATH

You know there's nothing to blog about when you're blogging about boys in a bath. If nothing else, the grandparents enjoy it...right?? I suppose this is the calm before the insanely busy fall season. Pretty soon I'll be saying/crying inconsolably "calgon take me away" and borrowing the boy's bubbles you see here. No, it will be good. As long as all of you bring me gifts and meals. Think of it as a fun service opportunity for yourself.

ZORRO

Have I told you how my cousin gives me the hook-up on costumes? Well, she does and the twins' new favorite character is Zorro, even though they don't know who he is. Truly, have you ever seen such darling, non-threatening Zorros in your life?

ONE TRICK PONY

I've got one trick up my sleeve and it's cookies. They're great!! I don't cook, I don't clean, I don't even bake....except cookies. That's all I got. I know a way to make them that makes your heart skip a beat and then leaves you begging for more. I would share my secret with you, but then I'd have to kill you. Just kidding, all you do is add a half cup more flour and out come these little bites of heaven. I have several (I'm sure of at least 2) people who would give me their firstborn just to have a taste. I think I need a snack.

YOUR PACKAGE...

Here we have twins in a box!!! We're shipping these dudes off to whoever gives us the most cash. We accept debit, visa, money orders, and Pottery Barn gift cards. Your twins will arrive ready to destroy and hang from stuff. Yenner drinks salsa and Nolie tells really elaborate stories. All sales final.

DRY TOWN

Cautiously glancing at the water contraption, wondering if he dare go in.
On his way back up for another "incredible" slide.

Before the bucket of water poured out on them.
Obviously this is right after.

So we went to Dry Town the other day, and I have to say that it really is one of the finer establishments in the AV. It was clean and new, there were tons of lifeguards, and Grammie and I got to sit and watch the children play. Momma said that they are going to be closing it down and I say that this is a cause worth fighting for. Let's all rally together and keep this place open!! What do you say...are you with me or do you not care??

LIGHTSABERS...BACKPACKS...FLOWERS

Here are my three jedi masters, fully equipped with capes, lightsabers, cowboy boots, and backpacks. Ahhh, just like the jedi masters of yesteryear.

Can you believe these flowers that Dada, Molla, and Casers sent me for my burfday? They are GORGE (short for gorgeous. All us young people are saying it these days)!!! Thanks so much guys!!!!
This is my floating head amongst the flowers. What a GREAT birthday I had with presents, food, shopping, eating, and flowers!!! I am not old.

BUENA VISTA

Jaydie tried to get up on the wakeboard but Daddy's back couldn't take much more.
Our three cute boat boys.
We did end up getting Nolie on the tube but not without some serious bribery. No picture of that because I was holding him for dear life.
We went to the beautiful (totally sarcastic about this, but you knew that) lake Buena Vista for a couple days and definitely did not come home with any diseases from the murky water. Okay, our eyes were oozing this strange brown fluid after, but that's normal right?? We did have some fun and were once again soooo thankful for a motor home to stay in.
