Thanks for always sending us jellybeans. You are very nice. I wish I came to visit you and I like to see you. I love you. Love, Jayden (the badies too)
I'm so glad that people like Grammie and Grampie (and the Gardners) are creative and think of fun things to do. Otherwise I think we might never leave the house. Grammie and Grampie thought we should go to Santa Monica and rent bikes and stuff and it was super fun!! You should do that. Make sure you invite me when you go because it was my idea.
Our big, almost 7 yr old, has learned how to roller blade and is quite good at it. No surprise considering he taught himself how to swim and ride a bike (no training wheels). Okay, so I'm bragging a bit; you would too!!
We went to the beach with our buddies this week and it was fun. We saw sand crabs and hermit crabs and a seagull pooped on our blanket. Cool, huh? The children played nonstop and would like to go back sooner rather than later. So you organize it and I am there.
Okay, so here we've got some connect four, some baseball, and some potty training. The boys are completely addicted to connect four thanks to the Gardner boys and Aunt Hallie bought a travel size for Jaydie so he doesn't have to share. Jaydie also loves baseball and I really think he has quite an arm; my little baseball pro/pastor. And last but definitely not least Nolie has conquered potty training. It was only five days but it felt like my whole life and I was convinced he would definitely have to have his stomach pumped because he wouldn't let #2 go, (I may have some overeacting issues) but at last on day #5 he did!! Tears came to my eyes and there were shouts of joy and gladness. Then he got that dragon toy that he had been dreaming of. Yenner is next and I'm sure there will be a post when that blessed day arrives.
So, Oregon was fun!! Did you miss me?? There are so many more pictures on my smugmug so you go there too and leave comments (if you want). It was in the low 60s there which was GREAT, but when we were coming home and stopped in Redding it was kind of a shocker. So Jaydie gets out of the car and says "man, it sure is hot here. It feels like hell." No, we haven't been teaching him little ways to swear, he's just been thinking alot about heaven and hell since VBS. He's gonna be a pastor, I just know it!!
Throwing rocks in Papa and Nana's river. What fun!!
