LIVE FROM OREGON

Well, we made it to Oregon safely...Praise Jesus!! The children were super good in the car. Were you praying for us?? Today we went to the harbor and a park and had a picnic and went to the beach. The weather was delightful and the boys threw rocks like it was going out of style. Blogging up here makes me feel like I've kinda gone international. I will still acknowledge all the little people that got me here, don't worry. So many more pictures to come, brace yourselves.

P.S. Yenner is sick. Do you think he has the swine flu?? I might be a bit of a hypochondriac.

MORE BASEBALL

Yenner wasn't wearing orange on this day so he didn't coordinate with this post. Hence why he's not in these pictures...sorry.
Well, the baseball season continues and we look forward to winning the pennant, (is that a baseball thing?) or a trophy of some sort. We also look forward to snack time at the end of each game. See, we have short term and long term goals. And while you may be tired of baseball pictures this is what a mother of three boys blogs about so be excited.

Also, my peeps, I am headed to Oregon and I realize that I will be sorely missed by many (well, at least one or two) people here. It is for that reason I have decided to bring my laptop and try to update from the O-R (hopefully not the operating room, just Oregon). You're welcome!!

A TYPICAL APRIL SWIM

I'm pretty sure that's the longest I have ever gone in between posts. That's gotta be some kind of record. Anyhow, here we are swimming in April. Doesn't everyone swim in April?? Does all this warm weather have to do with global warming?? Is this any indication of how insanely hot this summer will be? There's alot going on in my head as you can tell. Not just a hat rack my friend.

Now, you couldn't pay me enough to get in the ice water, but the children were all over it
. They did not want to get out. Soon enough boys you will actually be living in the water so we don't break the bank with our air conditioning bill.

SUNDAY SCHOOL SWEETIES

I know it's probably hard for you to tell which one is me in this picture, let me help you out...I'm the one in the lavender shirt that still looks like one of these teenage girls (gosh, you don't have to laugh that loud).
My Dear Katie

I have been so fortunate to teach Sunday School with these three cuties over the last year or so. They have gleaned so much from my wisdom. Things like how the Hippopotamus song goes and how to look super young even in your late twenties. Play along with me people.

RESURRECTION DAY!!

We had such a nice Easter what with church, family, friends, and eggs coming out of our ears (not necessarily in that order). I managed to take several hundred pictures so buckle up Easter peeps, you're in for an extended blog session.
I don't usually include so many pictures of myself but don't you think I was kind of a vision on this day?? You better say yes.
Yenner is finishing off a cake ball which didn't taste as bad as it looked apparently.

Grammie's annual Easter cross cake is always a treat. Thanks Grammie!!

CAKE BALLS MY FOOT

You must go to Hallie's blog now and see the hideousness that is our cake balls/pops. I laughed, I cried (and peed a little), it moved me. Now I remember why I don't bake.

THEOLOGY 101

Yenner and Nonie were having quite the little convo the other day and this is how it went....

N- Who made Jesus?

B- God

N- Who is God?

B- Jesus

So now that we've almost conquered the Holy Trinity next we will be discussing something more simple like Eschatology or Hermeneutics.

BATTER UP

Jaydie runs a little like Mario from Super Mario Brothers. He runs fast and stiff, just like the players in the major leagues, right??

Jaydie is involved in yet another sport and it is so fun (and a little painful at times) to watch. Although he doesn't play baseball like he memorizes verses (he's a machine I tell you), he's quite a good batter. He's still kind of afraid of catching the ball though; perhaps from years of the twins throwing stuff at him. I think this whole baseball thing is super cute but if Rob had it his way Jaydie would stick to bowling. I guess you could say he's not really a team player. That and the extreme weather make Rob our bowlorama Daddy.

JAYDIE'S DRAWING

I think the boys are looking forward to our next snow. Hold on to hope boys, ten years should go by lightning fast.
