KITES ARE HARD

This looked promising for a couple seconds, but it turned out to be another nose dive.

I didn't realize you had to be a rocket scientist to fly a kite. We jumped, we ran, we dodged, we laughed, Mommy almost cried...it was a memory maker for sure and we never did actually get that bad boy to fly. We went inside a little defeated with the resolve to "wait for Daddy to figure it out".

SPRING TRAINING

Spring Training is in full swing here (literally) and the good news is that only one child has been smacked in the face with a rather solid baseball so far. The odds are not entirely in my favor right now....bat + baseball + 3 boys = some kind of severe trauma to the head or some other appendage. Pray for us and buckle up for many, many more baseball pics!! Thank you so much.

RETURN OF THE JAYDEN

Jayden's second piano recital was GREAT!! It was like pure joy. We are so proud of our little Star Wars boy. Please go here and enjoy!!

MOMMA

Momma has been making meals, doing dishes, playing with the children, doing laundry, taking millions of pictures, and just plain loving us!! She is my new best friend and she will never be allowed to go home.

I don't know what's gotten into me, but I'm all Martha Stewart and stuff this Valentine's. Hopefully without a prison sentence in my future though.

I don't know why God would give me such cute Valentines!! So stinkin' blessed, I can't even believe it!!!

BOYS AND BBs

Myfourboys on a lazy Saturday (or Sunday, I don't really remember) watching man vs. wild. Soon they will be fully prepared to be thrown in to the middle of the jungle and survive on just bug guts and animal carcasses.
Of course Jaydie put an air soft BB in his ear to collect wax and gunk over the last year or so. Where else would he put it? Praise Jesus his hearing wasn't affected. Now he has no excuse for his selective listening.

Yep, I'm a short order cook in the mornings. Here we have cereal, cinnamon toast, bagel, strawberries and pear. Can it be any more complicated than it already is?

Well yes, I AM using the same picture as last year. In my defense it's raining like cats and dogs out there (are we in OR or what) and the children look pretty much the same as they did last year. With the exception of Yenner's fat face, Jaydie's new glasses, and longer hair for all three, it would have looked just the same had I taken it today. But this is all besides the point...HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAPA!!! You young thing you. Love you lots and lots.

SCRAPBOOK REUNION

I have at last been reunited with my old friend scrapbooking (and by scrapbooking I mean sliding pictures into their slots) thanks to this little beauty!! Doesn't it just make you want to throw pictures at it?

Also, we found some pea pods in the oven the other day after preheating it and smelling an odd smell. We're guessing it was one or two of the little people in our house once again experimenting with boundaries and how much money they can help us waste. I wish I could say it was a science experiment for school, but I think it's more like an "I need to watch those twins more closely" kind of lesson. You can bet your bottom dollar this was my picture of the day and will be going into my fabulous new album.

BIG BOYS AND BIG BIKES

We are officially a training wheels free household now. Well, except for when Rob pulls his out; sometimes he forgets. Why are they growing up so stinking fast? Little do they know that they will not be getting a driver's license.....ever!!! That will stop them.

My Four Boys.
Our annual family get-away took place at the happiest place on earth this year. The twins had their first ride on Space Mountain and loved it. These dudes are some kind of fearless. Rob and I cried the first time we went on that ride at the age of 12 or so, but the twins were wondering when we could go on it again. We didn't lose anybody this trip, which is a praise. And I'm gonna go out on a limb and say, no lost children in 2010. I think it's a good goal to have. So when do you want to go with us?
