NEW AND IMPROVED

Jayden's glasses were in desperate need of being replaced, as you can see, but he insisted on wearing them until the new pair were in his hands. I almost threw those things out in the middle of the street to be run over, (accidentally, of course) rendering them unwearable, but decided against it after all. Thankfully Jaydie's glasses came sooner than expected and the old pair is out of my life forever.

Speaking of our sweet Jaydie, here's a little nugget of info for ya. Our Bible-reading, verse-memorizing, piano-playing sweetie was giving his little neighborhood friends the bird the other day. Praise Jesus he doesn't know what it means officially, he just knows it's bad. He was mad at his friends and must have thought, "well, this will show them!!" After some reproof we found out that he learned it from the neighborhood children (no, I'm not giving people the bird in the car). So, we don't need to send our kids to school to learn foul things, they can pick stuff up right here on our culdesac. So much for trying to live in a homeschool bubble.

Yes, I can hear the sarcasm...it's emanating from the blog!! I knew that home-school bubble was going to burst at some point. I know Jaydie's learned his lesson (he's perfect in Grammie's eyes you know). Can you home school the neighbors kids too?? Love you

lets see how long before B & N pull a stunt like that.. you know the oldest are the most sheltered.. Bet Jayden shows them one day. Bummer there will be no neighbor to blame then.

WoW! So much happened while I was gone. Can you make sure he doesn't teach Pearson and maybe we should play at my house for now on.

Just as long as he doesn't bring these things to children's church...the bird, not the glasses.
