FALL FUN

So here we've got Obi Wan, Buzz, and Woody. My cousin gave me the hook-up on the sweet Woody costume, and our friends gave us the Obi Wan costume, and the Buzz costume was 2 bucks on clearance. A cheap but fun Halloween.

THE PUMPKIN GOSPEL

In order to try and spiritualize halloween Rob carves a pumpkin and reads this little book, The Pumpkin Gospel. The kids get really into it. They even plug their noses when Rob scoops out the mushy gushies like God cleans out our sin (that's an actual line from the book). This year it was fun to have our Gardners over for the carving ceremonies. Anyhow, you should go and get the book. No doubt it's half price now; you gotta think ahead people!!

Okay, so maybe this part isn't so spiritual. We carved the pumpkin into a dragon. Aren't dragons biblical?

TENNIS ANYONE

In an attempt to make Jaydie a well-rounded, all sports pro (like his parents) we enrolled him in yet another city program. Yep, you guessed it, tennis!! It was a very good program and Jaydie says "I just love tennis". At the last class he said to the teacher "thanks for being my coach. Hey, what's your name?". And what's a tennis class without your best buddy? I don't know what the answer to that is.

THE PSUEDO PATCH

Jaydie is going through an interesting phase with his smile. It's either a giant smile or a sad face; there is no in between.

TWO MOMS + SIX KIDS=

Fun, fun, fun!! One of my bestest friends from long, long ago came to stay with us for a few days and it wasn't as psycho as we thought it would be. The children got along marvelously and the twins got to have one last go around with some binkies (pictures of that in smugmug later). Incidentally, the twins are so big compared to Dena's babies that I am going to try to refain from calling my twins "babies". It will be difficult since sometimes they act like infants. But aren't they all just too cute for words?

OREGON BABY

It was soooo good to be in OR and see everyone. We got to spend lots of time with my brother and the kids and it was super fun. It was the first time that our kids got to play together for so much time and they were fast friends. It was also the twins first airplane ride and I, of course, expected the worst. They did remarkably well though and on the way home they all three fell asleep. It was very kind of them to let me just read my magazine and have a little snack. There are about a million more pictures I want to post but I will probably just put them on my smugmug; you will go there and you will like them. Thank you.

SKATE OR DIE DUDE

Jaydie got a skateboard for his birthday from Grammie and Grampie and his feet have been planted on it ever since. The boy next door brought out his boards so everyone was a skater this night. It is really fun to watch as they find new and interesting ways to freak their mom out. We haven't had any blood and guts yet, PRAISE BE TO JESUS!!
