CONFESSIONS OF A HOMESCHOOL MOM

Yep, I'm a homeschool mom now!! I have been enjoying the flexibility and the fun things you can do with homeschool but I'm going to have to be real with you all; I have had 2 meltdowns. One bigger than the other. That's pretty good odds considering it's been two weeks now, huh? God is obviously teaching me patience and flexibility; hard things for this super anal girl!! Pray for me. Truly though, I am enjoying it and I think Jaydie is too. Already we've gone to Disneyland (why I started homeschool in the first place), finger painted with pudding (you know you're gonna do that too), had one of our class pets die (we could probably get another one at a whopping 28cents each), and had a taste and smell science experiment. Don't worry, I'm saving all my notes and I have lots of ideas for you when you start homeschooling.

I am sure you are doing an outstanding job and will continue to as well.
I really like your idea of finger painting with pudding, although I dont know how well it will work with my kids. You see, I think I would steel the bowl from them and try to eat the pudding myself which would creat lots of tears and screaming~haha!. Hang in there girl!

I hear you...I am struggling with that right now too. A mom on the island asked me to help homeschool her child and it's a different world for some reason. So I am right there with you.

OH!...and are you ever going to tell me when you're heading to D-land? And that means more than an hours notice. :) hee he hee

Those are great pics Cari! I am so proud of you. Homeschooling and great pics, wow. Woman of many talents.
In all seriousness, your kids are so blessed to have a mom who is willing to step up and be a mom. Lots of respect going out here. Your definitely not taking the easy way out and letting others do it and it will show through your children in the end. And with twins at home too. Double wow.
